The Disney Channel Games has started. This is Nolegirl6, back with another Television review. As many of you know, the Disney Channel Games is a special series of events shown only in the summer. For those of you who don't live in the United States, this is the second year of the Disney Channel Games, and they have extended it world-wide! They have also added another team. Last year it was only Green, Red, and Blue, but now the Yellow team has been added to the game. This special is on Disney Channel, and you can see it every Saturday at 8 Eastern Standard Time.

The Disney Channel Games, otherwise known as the DC Games, is held in Walt Disney World's the Wide World of Sports Complex. Every team is playing for a charity for children. The winner of the DC Games wins $100,000 for their charity, and a huge trophy. If you missed one of the DC Games, you can go online to DisneyChannelGames.com to watch the past episodes.

The Green Team is made up of nine people. The captain is Dylan Sprouse, fromThe Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The other members of the team are Lucas Grabeel, from High School Musical, Miley Cyrus, from Hannah Montana, Monique Coleman, from High School Musical, Brandon Baker, from Johnny Kapuhaula: Back on Board, Kouki Okada, from Disney Channel Japan, Pax Baldwin, from Disney Channel United Kingdom, Giulia Boverio, from Disney Channel Italy and Bela Klentze, from Disney Channel Germany. The Green Team is playing for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The Red Team is made up of nine people. The captain is Brenda Song, from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior, and more. The other members are Jason Earles, from Hannah Montana Ashley Tisdale, from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and High School Musical Moises Arias, from Hannah Montana, Adrienne Bailon, from The Cheetah Girls, Mitchel Musso, from Hannah Montana, Sydney White, from Disney Channel United Kingdom, Francois Civil, from Disney Channel France, and Sergio Martin, from Disney Channel Spain. The Red Team is playing for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

The Blue Team, who won last year's DC Games, is made up of eight people. The captain is Corbin Bleu, from High School Musical and Jump In. Other members of the team are Cole Sprouse, from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody; Kiely Williams, from The Cheetah Girls, Jake T. Austin, from Johnny Kapahuala: Back on Board, Maiara Walsh, from Cory in the House, Isabella Soric, from Disney Channel Germany, Giulio Rubinelli, from Disney Channel Italy, and Roger Gonzalez, from Disney Channel Mexico. The Blue Team is playing for the Starlight Starbright Childrens Foundation.

The Yellow team is made up of eight people. The captain is Kyle Massey, from Cory in the House. Other members of the team are Jason Dolley, also from Cory in the House, Emily Osment, from Hannah Montana, Sabrina Bryan, from The Cheetah Girls, Shin Koyamada, from Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior, Andrea Guasch, from Disney Channel Spain, Robson Nunes, from Disney Channel Brazil, and Come Levin, from Disney Channel France. The Yellow Team is playing for the US Fund for UNICEF.

The Disney Channel Games puts the stars of Disney Channel against one another. I really enjoyed the Disney Channel Games last year. But I did think that some of their events were a little stupid. I mean, extreme Rock Paper Scissors? They put it in a Wrestling Ring, with a referee, and those jacket things that you have seen people wear in movies, such as Jump In. I think they took that event a little too far. But I especially enjoyed the egg toss.

One thing I liked about the Disney Channel Games was that all of the events were ones that you have done at school, and things like that. They had one of those blow up obstacle courses, Egg Toss, Rock Paper Scissors, and more. You can also go online to play games and if you finish you get to vote for your favorite team. The votes are added up and each week the team with the most votes gets extra points. The games are similar to the games in the competition; this week is the Extreme Rock Paper Scissors Game. I thought this game was fun, especially the jousting part.

Last year, and the team I was hoping would win was the Blue Team, who ended up winning. This year I am again going for the Blue Team, but not for the same reason. Last year, I went for Blue because blue was my favorite color. But this year, even though blue is still my favorite color, I like them because they are playing for the Starlight Starbright Foundation, which I think doesn't have nearly as much fundraising as the other charities, I think they need the money the most. Who do you hope will win? You can post it in the BBS.

To see all of the action in this year's Disney Channel Games, you will have to watch it yourself. This is Nolegirl6, signing off, with another television review.
